How WaAPI works today

- One price per instance. All features are included in every instance, with no per-user fees or seat limits.
- Unlimited messages. No daily or monthly caps on the plan itself.
- Pacing guidance. WaAPI recommends at least 15 seconds between messages per instance to reduce the risk of bans.
- Trial offer. The first instance is free for the first month with a coupon.
- Unofficial. The site states it is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

When to choose WaAPI
- You run one or a few numbers and want the simplest possible pricing.
- A free first month matters more to you than a short trial.
- You don't need the official WhatsApp API now or later.
When to choose D-API

Migrating from WaAPI to D-API
- Map the concepts. A WaAPI instance becomes a D-API session identified by a
sessionIdyou choose. Authentication is one account API key in the Authorization header. - Create the session and connect the number. Call
POST /api/v1/sessionswithconnectionModeqrand awebhookUrl, then scan the QR code. - Swap the send calls. Text goes to
POST /api/v1/messages/send/text; other message types have their own routes, listed in the docs. In Node.js, the SDK wraps them. - Adapt the webhook receiver to the D-API envelope with
